Episode 526: Magnificent March

Although the road ended in the 2nd round, the Northwestern Men’s Basketball team showed out magnificently in Sacramento. From the win against Boise St. in the first round to a marvelous performance against UCLA that came up just short, these guys acquitted themselves exactly how we wanted to see them. Tonight, we marvel at the weekend that was, including major wins from both Softball and Lacrosse. We are your premier Northwestern Sports Podcast! Episode 525: Bracketology with Scott Sepich

With the start of March Madness comes the oldest tradition in the history of the West Lot Pirates, our annual Bracketology pod with Scott Sepich. This time, much like back in 2017, we have something else to discuss: Northwestern’s position in the tournament, what kind of matchup to expect from Boise State and a possible date with future conference foe UCLA potentially in round 2. We are your premier Northwestern Sports Podcast! You can download the episode from Apple Podcasts, Amazon Podcasts, Spotify or directly from here.

Episode 489: Softball Sweep!

If you’re not watching this NU Softball team absolutely dominate all comers this season, now is the time to fix that. The Cats finished off their early season barnstorming tour with a decisive sweep of the weekend series at Mizzou, knocking off the 18th ranked Tigers and no-hitting a very talented Stanford squad. This week we also celebrate Ryan Deakin’s National Championship in wrestling, continue to marvel at the Lacrosse domination and check in on our NCAA Men’s and Women’s brackets before previewing the NCAA Hockey tourney. Episode 488: Bracketology with Scott Sepich

March Madness is upon us yet again! However, a grave injustice exists as the NU Women’s team was snubbed from the NCAA tournament this year, thus ending the fabulous NU career of Veronica Burton. To help us wrap our heads around the Men’s tournament, we welcome our own Bracketologist, Scott Sepich back to the show. We are your premier Northwestern Sports Podcast!
