We start the new year with a discussion of a Northwestern bowl victory! We look back at the Pinstripe Bowl, recap the rest of Bowl season and look ahead to the National Championship Game next week. It’s Bowl Season and we are back with the West Lot Pirates Bowl Challenge.  We’re back with ESPN this season and you can see the results by clicking here.  The password this season is “pinstripe”.

We are playing a little game throughout the season. Each of us chose 5 teams who had a combined record last year of no more than 40. We’ll track our teams all season and see which squad ends up with the most wins. Going into the National Championship game, it’s all over with John winning it all.  The only thing left is to see if Sam can tie Erik for 2nd or if John will extend his victory margin to 2.

Erik: 49 Florida State (10), LSU (8), Boise State (10), Penn State (11), Troy (10)

John: 50 Alabama (14), Florida State (10), San Diego State (11), Georgia Tech (9), UCF (6)

Sam: 48* Clemson (13), LSU (8), Boise State (10), Colorado (10), Boston College (7)
