Episode 292: Bowl Breakdown Part 2

This week we finish up our bowl previews and discuss many of the hot topics that have come up in the world of College Football. We are your premier Northwestern Sports Podcast! You can download the episode from iTunes, Stitcher Radio or directly from here.

It’s Bowl Season and we are back with the West Lot Pirates Bowl Challenge.  We’re back with ESPN this season and you can join the group by clicking here.  The password this season is “pinstripe”.

We are playing a little game throughout the season. Each of us chose 5 teams who had a combined record last year of no more than 40. We’ll track our teams all season and see which squad ends up with the most wins. John and Erik allowed a retcon and Sam has been given Colorado in place of Texas. He’ll have an asterisk, but the race is now much closer going into bowl season. Here are the updated standings with current wins in parentheses.

Erik: 46 Florida State (9), LSU (7), Boise State (10), Penn State (11), Troy (9)

John: 46 Alabama (13), Florida State (9), San Diego State (10), Georgia Tech (8), UCF (6)

Sam: 45* Clemson (12), LSU (7), Boise State (10), Colorado (10), Boston College (6)
