Episode 614: Northwestern 42-Western Illinois 7
It was a lovely night for some Friday Night Lights and Northwestern did what they needed to do: lay down the wood on their FCS foe. Unfortunately, they also lost Cam Porter for the season with a leg injury. Now, with #4 Oregon looming Saturday morning, what will the Cats need to do and what should we expect to see? Episode 582: Duke 26-Northwestern 20 (2OT)
It was a dark and stormy night. It was a sloppy game all around and the level of play sure wasn’t helped by the gale-force winds coming in off the lake. At the end of the day, Duke came away with the double overtime win leaving us all with a number of questions moving forward. We are your premier Northwestern Sports Podcast! Episode 501: Duke 31-Northwestern 23
Northwestern’s September woes reared their ugly heads once again as the Cats dug themselves a big hole that was just a little too big to clamber out of. Evan Hull and Ryan Hilinski had incredible games, but a few bounces the wrong way, fumbles an inch too soon and Duke being in the right place at the right time combined with a potent Blue Devil rushing attack was too much to overcome. Episode 466: Northwestern 24-Indiana St. 6 w/Jay Sharman
While Indiana State was certainly what the doctor ordered to get the bad taste of the opener out of our mouths, there is still some rumblings of discontent amongst Wildcat faithful. We had to bring in Jay Sharman (aka Lake the Posts) to help us take the temperature of the fanbase, get our heads around the annual “September Swoon” and prepare us all mentally for this weekend’s game against Duke.
