Episode 439: Northwestern 27-Purdue 20

We’re halfway through the season and NU passed their biggest test to date. The Purdue offense is as dynamic as any we’ll see all season and the Cat’s D was up to the challenge. Keeping David Bell in check and only allowing 2 total yards rushing, Northwestern held on for another one-possession victory. You can download the episode from iTunes or directly from here.

Episode 438: Northwestern 21-Nebraska 13

In what has become a very underrated rivalry, the battle of NU, Northwestern continued to show defensive dominance, especially in the second half, and knocked off the Cornhuskers. While the offense was shaky at times, the D has yet to allow a single point in the second half of any game this season. However, with the high flying Purdue Boilermakers on deck, can the Cats continue to pitch second half shutouts? You can download the episode from iTunes or directly from here.

Episode 405: Purdue 24-Northwestern 22

While it wasn’t a complete and total bummer of a game, NU still came away from the matchup with another L on the record. There were some positive takeaways though including the faintest heartbeat of an offense. With a woeful UMass squad coming into Evanston this weekend, let’s see what kind of momentum the Cats can muster going into the end of the season. We are your premier Northwestern Sports Podcast!
